OPEN MINDED How did you like the US Open at Bethpage last week? There were new faces, interesting events and a disappointed Tiger. Although Tiger got the brunt of the tee times by playing in the worst conditions on 'Day 1', he had a chance but didn't take advantage of it. Do you agree that Tiger missed more short putts in the past two months than he did in the last five years? If anyone could return to 'full strength' after an eight month layoff, it's Tiger Woods. But he has yet to prove that he could do it. Phil gave it a good try but has anyone missed more short putts while in contention in Majors than Phil? Hopefully he'll figure it out but I'd start with trying to eliminate the forward press. Who is friends with Ernie Els? Please tell him that I could straighten out his entire golf game in one hour! We both need it! Ricky Barnes almost surprised the world but if you go to an automotive magazine and look up, "Leaking oil," you'll see his picture.
